Discover the latest exhibition at maison parisienne’s virtual gallery !

From January 21 to 26, 2025 was held the 3ᵉ edition of maison parisienne’s exhibition, La Promenade du Collectionneur à l’Hôtel Solvay.

The Hôtel Solvay, a major achievement by Victor Horta and a masterpiece of Art Nouveau, acquires Pierre Renart’s Banquette Möbius Alliance, created in collaboration with sculptor David Léger.

The Banquette Möbius Alliance, conceived as a dialogue between tradition and innovation, is made of American walnut and Grand Antique d’Aubert marble. It pays tribute to the materials employed by Victor Horta and, through the virtuosity of its forms, recalls the organic suppleness of the volutes in Horta’s architecture.

The Hôtel Solvay, which contains a wide variety of woods and marbles, provides the perfect setting for this exceptional piece. Its organic curves blend harmoniously with the architecture of this total work of art and the materials of which it is composed.

The Banquette Möbius Alliance now adorns the second floor of the Solvay couple’s former private appartments, in Mr and Mrs Solvay’s bedroom.

This acquisition celebrates the continuity between heritage and contemporary creation, celebrating the mastery of materials and the excellence of craftsmanship.

An exceptional collection to celebrate 15 years of maison parisienne.

For this anniversary exhibition, Florence Guillier Bernard, founder of maison parisienne, has commissioned 15 artists to create 15 original works that resonate with the exhibition venue, the Hall des Maréchaux at the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris. Pierre Renart created a remarkably large Möbius bench entirely in ziricote, a type of wood never before used in his work.
