To mark Design Miami Paris 2026, maison parisienne is presenting “Arabesque”, a monumental installation by Pierre Renart.
This artwork is on display in the cour d’honneur of the Hôtel de Maisons. Crafted from laminated Moabi wood veneer, this single-piece work creates the illusion of a continuous ribbon whose curves interact with the historic architecture of this iconic venue.
A truly poetic piece of street furniture, it offers two seating options designed for contemplation: on one side, a comfortable bench with a backrest; on the other, a chaise longue. The enveloping curve arches over the heads of those seated, creating a veritable cocoon that invites a moment of relaxation and daydreaming, whilst remaining a space for socialising and interaction.
