With his knowledge of materials as well as the elegance of his lines and demand for quality, Pierre Renart draws, designs and carries out custom-made projects in furniture and space layout for collectors, professionals, architects, decorators…by adapting to your specifications.

workshop

In 2017, Pierre Renart moved near Blois where he built a large, modern and highly equipped workshop. This new workshop allows him to work on large-scale projects with his team.

scale models

Pierre Renart works on each piece by producing a 1/10 scale model. If the furniture is stable and coherent in the 1/10 format, it will certainly be so in real size. Pierre Renart makes his models by hand, using a single thickness of veneer.

materials

Pierre Renart works with several types of wood: American Walnut is his favorite, whether it’s natural or stained lighter or darker; this walnut grows in France and is worked locally. Padauk, a very resistant exotic species with warm red tones, lends itself well to outdoor use. Oak, natural or stained, is both flexible and rigid; it’s perfect for carving solid wood or making table tops for example. Rosewood, a delicate exotic species, has spectacular wood veining. Teak, a very resistant exotic species with warm honey tones, also lends itself well to outdoor use.
