Hornbeam.

With this 4-meter-long by 1-meter-high hammock, Pierre Renart has chosen to work with a new material, hornbeam, a wood that gives the work a certain flexibility and lightness reminiscent of the appearance and natural color of the ropes used to form the seat of hammocks. In creating this work, Pierre Renart was keen to reconnect with his training in chair carpentry from the École Boulle and deliver an innovative and modern interpretation.
