Each piece from the Fusion collection is composed of several strips of laminate American walnut wood which diverge, meet and ultimately merge together. The molding is done once; all the slats are molded at the same time so that the entire movement of the curves is fluid and consistent.

I wanted to reinvent some of the signature pieces from the Ribbon collection like the Wave Wall Console. I first made the Fusion Wall Console, a floating wall-mounted console designed as a loop of wood that gently closes against the underside of its top. The slats begin to separate just before the curve of the loop, right at the edge of the top, and follow a line of increasing distance to gradually taper off.

Very versatile, the Fusion Wall Console can be custom made in different colors, materials or directions: the loop can be right or left.

The Fusion Wall Console was first unveiled during the collection’s launch by the maison parisienne gallery during Paris Design Week 2021.
